A typical driver in the U.S. travels 12,000 to 15,000 miles annually and has a one in 15 chance of being involved in a motor vehicle collision each year.

A typical business traveler drivers 25,000 plus miles a year which greatly increases their chances of being involved in a crash.

The most dangerous time of the day for most people is the time spent driving to or from work.

*In 2006 a crash occurred every 5 seconds,  property damage occurred every 7 seconds,  an injury occurring every 10 seconds and  a traffic fatality occurring every 12 minutes.
