League City Police Department  Collision Avoidance Driving Skills For Life ...  The League City Police Department is proud to be the first agency in the state of Texas to offer Collision Avoidance Training for teens. It is a sobering reality that motor vehicle collisions are a leading cause of teen deaths and injuries nationally. The CAT program teaches valuable skills, both in the classroom and through hands-on exercises that will make teens more comfortable behind the wheel when faced with hazards on the road. The program’s defensive driving and vehicle control techniques are essential for new drivers. CAT is one more example of LCPD’s desire to build a collaborative policing model that will result in improved safety for all of our citizens. I encourage you to enroll your teen today, so that we improve their chance for a safer tomorrow! NOTE: Students must be a League City resident or attend a school in the Clear Creek Independent School District.
